Discovery and Event Management:
- Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery to identify and maintain Configuration Items (CIs).
- Investigate issues with ServiceNow discovery and working on resolving them
- Add new attributes to CI classes based on requirements
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Event Management, including integrations with third-party monitoring tools.
- Diagnose and resolve complex discovery and event management issues.
CMDB Management and Enhancement:
- Manage and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Configure and maintain reports/dashboards (including CMDB health metrics & preferences configuration)
- Monitor data populated on CMDB health dashboard and CMDB & CSDM data foundations dashboard. Taking actions like working on deduplication tasks, stale tasks etc. to improve the data quality.
- Configure policies on CMDB data manager
- Implement advanced CMDB features, including Agent Client Collector (ACC) and service mapping for application and infrastructure components.
Integration and Customization:
- Build and optimize integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and APIs for tools like AD, MID Servers, and cloud environments.
- Develop custom discovery patterns, workflows, and solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- ServiceNow ITOM Expertise: Proven experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management solutions.
- CMDB Knowledge: Strong understanding of the CMDB lifecycle, including discovery, service mapping, and CI data integrity.
- Integrations: Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, and API integrations for systems like AD, MID Servers, and credential stores.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and the ability to develop custom patterns and workflows.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and cloud discovery tools.
- CSDM Framework: Strong knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Overall minimum 5 years of experience
