Job Title: Lead Consultant - QA
Job Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Should understand Test Automation and Open-source Frameworks
- Java with Selenium, Selenium Page Object Design Pattern.
- Test Automation role requires to understand the design and execution of Automation Scripts and validation procedures along with the responsibility for Estimations, prioritizations, Overall plans and coordinating testing activities.
- Understanding the Selenium and BDD frameworks and very strong on the Automation concepts.
- Automated Regression Testing to ensure all test activities on projects are executed as per the Test Plans.
- Required to liaise with Test Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, users to ensure and enabling the changes along with meeting the quality standards.
- Executing tests on software usability. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Incumbent must learn and be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, scripting, and Execution, also must learn to have knowledge of Pega tool and its features.
- QA Lead establishes metrics, mentors team members, and manages outside resources, as well as developing test programs.
- Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
- Must be well versed with QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered software and improving application quality going forward. Requires Peer Reviews of the Test Scripts from the Team.
- The test Lead will decide on the go/no go decisions on production implementations of the new and modified software, based on project quality and testing scenarios.
- QA Lead will be involved in Sprint planning, understanding Use cases, Designing the test Approach for PEGA APPLICATIONS, establishing Automation Strategy for the Applications, implementation of the Automation in reducing the testing Cycle time, full Execution of QA Process, and brining things for a Closure.
- Experience working in Agile methodology.
