Job Description
Job Summary
The Security Supervisor / Assistant Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the security operations on-site, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets. The role includes supervising security staff, enforcing security protocols, and responding to incidents in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other surveillance systems.
- Ensure all security procedures and protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entry/exit points.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies; prepare reports accordingly.
- Train and brief security personnel on duties, conduct, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain attendance, duty rosters, and performance records of security staff.
- Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and employee ID verification.
- Ensure proper functioning of security equipment and report malfunctions.
- Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
