Job Description

Job Summary The Systems Analyst (Functional - Financials) for Corporate Financial Systems will assist, primarily, in gathering business and functional requirements, implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Financials. Additional support of Greystars Corporate Accounting team is expected with projects, reports and initiatives that enhance overall business operations, reporting, communication, and workflow efficiencies. The ideal candidate needs to have the ability to move quickly and fluidly across multiple initiatives and have best-in-class collaboration and written/verbal communication skills. Preferred Oracle ERP Cloud certified (in any one of the financial modules). Essential Responsibilities Oracle ERP Cloud Implementation & Post Production Support : Partner with business experts and finance stakeholders to gather and interpret planning and budgeting requirements Own training, documenting, tracking, prioritizing, and delivering results for Oracle ERP Cloud Financials implementation . Partner closely with the Corporate Accounting team to provide support and implementation guidance Be a go to techno-functional resource for all things Oracle ERP Cloud Financials @ Greystar Managing Oracle ERP Cloud Financials datahub or integrations with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Managing cutovers in dev/test/prod environments Performing regression testing Partnering with business during critical testing cycles / UAT Tracking and resolving defects System Resource : Meet regularly with internal customers, identifying issues and opportunities, and addressing as appropriate. Develops technical reports, documents, user support, and technical manuals to support systems and software training. Support the business with future implementations related to Financial Close and Consolidation, Treasury Management, and BI Analytics / Reporting Other Responsibilities Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary. Organizational Responsibilities Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s). Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s). Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity. Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility. Working Conditions Incumbents work in an office environment. Physical Demands Incumbents must be able to view computer screens and other electronic equipment, paper reports, and journals for extended periods of time where visual strain may result. Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training classes, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Required Licenses Or Certifications Oracle ERP Cloud Financials certified Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Solid Financial Accounting Skills Requires At Least 5-10 Years Of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Financial Applications Experience In At Least 2 Of These Modules Oracle General Ledger Oracle Payables Oracle Receivables Oracle Fixed Assets Oracle Cash Management Oracle Intercompany Demonstrated ability to translate technology into business terms and to influence outcomes with key stakeholders. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to parties from various levels and backgrounds. Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills. College degree in Accounting, Accounting Systems, Management Information Systems, Finance or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred. Techno-functional skills are preferred.
