Job Description
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Python and Playwright to help us build a robust test automation suite for our web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the quality and performance of our products.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright with Python.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify, document, and track bugs.
- Perform regression testing and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and product quality.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation using Python.
- Solid experience with Playwright for browser-based test automation.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman or requests.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker).
- Experience testing React, Angular, or Vue-based web applications.
- Exposure to BDD tools like Behave or Cucumber.
