Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Manager to lead a large QA team driving quality assurance, automation and Six Sigma-driven process improvements across delivery team. This is a leadership role requiring strong expertise in manual & automation testing, regulatory compliance, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large cross-functional QA teams (manual, automation, API testing).
- Develop and scale automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, REST Assured) with Java/Python.
- Drive Six Sigma quality initiatives to reduce defects and improve delivery outcomes.
- Implement regression and impact analysis strategies to enhance test coverage and traceability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, SOPs, and regulated industry norms.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery stakeholders.
- Build automated reporting and dashboard tools for QA visibility.
- Mentor and develop QA engineers to foster a high-performance culture.
Must-Have Skills & Certifications:
- 14+ years in QA leadership roles managing large teams
- Expertise in Selenium, Appium, REST Assured automation frameworks
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
- Proficiency with test management tools: JIRA, QA Touch, TestRail
- Experience with cloud testing platforms: BrowserStack, LambdaTest
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, fintech, pharma) preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Agile/Scrum Master certification
- Six Sigma Certification
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git
- API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured)
- Familiarity with ISO, CAPA, RCA processes
- Experience managing distributed QA teams
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
