Job Title : Adv Specialist, Sales Force Developer
Position Overview
- This role is within the Celanese Digital Commerce Solutions IT team. In this role, the Salesforce Developer will partner with various functions across the organization and the Salesforce IT team to ensure steady-state support is in place to support commercial/business operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in developing and customizing Salesforce applications, as well as experience in designing and mplementing complex solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment.
- Support, maintain, and improve the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.
- Create and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other Salesforce team members to identify and implement improvements for the system.
- Ensure compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce.
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and other technologies.
- Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and new Salesforce solutions are implemented.
- xStay updated with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required, Masters Degree is a plus
- 2-4 years with a Salesforce Certification OR 4-6 years in Salesforce development without a Salesforce Certification.
- Strong knowledge in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura, Salesforce development tools & Flow automation.
- Good understanding of Salesforce data & security model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.
- Experience with integrating various tools and systems with Salesforce & Implementing/configuring managed packages.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to connect with global teams and translate complex system requirements into business language and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
