Job Description

Accountant (US Client) Experience: 3+ years

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting transactions, financial statements, journal entries, and other financial reports.

Assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards, including handling some of the organizations more complex entities.

2. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting

Prepare, record, and maintain financial schedules, reports, and filings as required by laws, regulations, or management directives.

3. Bank and Ledger Reconciliation

Reconcile bank statements to cashbooks and general ledger accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly addressed.

4. Taxation

Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax obligations.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience :

Minimum of 3 years handling U.S. accounting, with a proven track record of managing international or offshore clients.

- Skills :

Proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( GAAP ).

Strong financial and accounts knowledge.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Communication :

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to interact fluently and confidently with U.S.-based clients.

- Problem-Solving :

Ability to think critically and propose innovative ideas to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
