Job Description
Job Title: Data Modeler
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Hyderabad (WFO).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experience in data modelling designing, implementing, and maintaining data models to support data quality, performance, and scalability.
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler and worked with data analysts, data architects and business stakeholders to ensure data models are aligned to business requirements.
- Expertise in Azure, Databricks, Data warehousing, ERWIN, and Supply chain background is required.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling principles and techniques (e.g., ERD, UML).
- Proficiency with data modelling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Erwin, IBM Data Architect).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Able to create and maintain Source to Target mapping [STTM] Document , Bus Matrix Document , etc.
- Realtime experience working in OLTP & OLAP Database modelling.
- Additional: Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
