Lead Business Analyst @ Ameriprise Financial

Design and develop PowerBI dashboards to streamline reporting. Structure reports, which includes data gathering and accurate execution of reports, and comprise ad-hoc analysis. Automate report preparation and check for data integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting

• Leveraging data through various practice reporting to analyze complex business issues, incorporating company and industry knowledge.
• Review post transition metrics to identify or make observations through the data. For example, review transition track and OnboardHub metrics and data to provide the field with best results and action planning
• Ownership of AFIG Reporting. Owning preparation, delivery, and accuracy of reporting and related documentation for ramp up reporting, APPD for new FI Partners, etc.
• Replying to queries (if any) from internal customers.
• Prioritizing deliverables based on requirements.
• On-demand reports created for specific, non-routine business queries.
• Provides instant insights by allowing users to generate reports as needed.
• Supports quick decision making by providing real time data.

Reporting uplift

• Enhances data accuracy by refining data sources.
• Improve efficiency through automation to reduces manual efforts.
• Provides deeper insights with advanced analytics.

Deeper business knowledge

• Understanding core processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas.
• Recognizing customer needs to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Leveraging data insights for informed strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SQL
• Working knowledge of Python
• Experience in designing reports/ dashboards in Power BI. Project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/ projects and work independently.
• Strong logical, analytical, and abstract thinking skills.

• AWS, PowerApps
