Senior Devops Engineer @ USA Based

Job Description

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in Azure Cloud, with a deep understanding of Azure services and best practices.
• Proficiency in designing and managing Azure cloud services such as IaaS/PaaS.
• Strong automation skills using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI (preferred: Azure DevOps).
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Shell, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Proven ability to monitor and optimize cloud costs.
• Experience supporting development teams and troubleshooting deployment issues.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing logging and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of high availability architectures and fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience in cloud migration projects, including planning and execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure or other cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
