Job Description

As an MES Core Operations Specialist, you will drive the operational excellence of our MES Core functionalities, ensuring seamless performance, proactive customer response, and team-driven goal achievement within an agile and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of MES Core Functionalities' operational objectives, maintaining customer SLAs, optimizing performance, preparing comprehensive reports, and proactively addressing customer and management needs.
• Oversee the deployment, administration, and upgrading of systems, promptly escalating critical issues.
• Ensure meticulous testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer before system deployment.
• Provide critical incident support and escalate operational issues, collaborating with development and solution teams when necessary.
• Manage MES Platform maintenance activities, ensuring effective communication and infrastructure management.
• Support other solution teams with SAP-related services and spearhead investigations into technical issues, performing root cause analyses for production errors.
• Identify production issues and drive continuous improvement processes for operational efficiency, process integration, and standardization.
• Handle internal communications and quality assurance, primarily focusing on MES DevOps problem resolution reported by BSH factories or departments.
• Guide and assist the Operations team, ensuring resolution of issues to meet all objectives.
• Monitor all factory communications to assess operations within specified time frames.
• Drive automation and enhancement of development and release processes.
• Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure adherence to established processes and seamless functionality.
• Develop procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Engage with cutting-edge technologies in a modern development environment, including Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Couchbase, MSSQL, and SAP Production Planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the mentioned tasks.
• Advanced expertise in DevOps technologies, Distributed micro services, and SAP Systems.
• Proficiency in deployment strategies using Docker and Rancher for containerization, along with expertise in NoSQL (Couchbase) or MSSQL data platforms.
• Experience in operating high-availability solutions in production environments.
• Agile work experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficient in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in coordinating tasks with multiple stakeholders and possessing high escalation management skills.
• Experience handling critical incidents and complex situations.
• Familiarity with operational tools and ITSM processes.
• Expertise in root cause investigation and in-depth problem analysis across teams.
