Senior Python Developer - Internationalization Specialist

Job Position Summary

Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in internationalization (i18n) to join our engineering team. This role is critical to a high-impact client engagement where the developer will be responsible for designing and implementing a custom code scanner that identifies and reports i18n issues across large-scale codebases.

Key responsibilities

Senior Python Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain a Python-based static code analysis tool to scan and detect internationalization issues (e.g., hardcoded strings, locale mishandling, date/number formatting).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define i18n quality rules, standards, and issue categories.
• Integrate scanning logic with CI/CD pipelines and/or development workflows.
• Analyze existing codebases and generate detailed reports on i18n compliance and areas of improvement.
• Work with international product teams to ensure solutions align with localization best practices.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other developers on i18n considerations.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
