- Translate Business Needs: Convert business requirements into a well-structured specification document to guide the development team.
- Convert business requirements into clear and actionable product requirements to guide development team.
- Oversee and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate closely with development teams throughout the solution delivery process to ensure alignment with product goals.
- Monitor project progress to ensure quality standards are met and deadlines are adhered to for each project.
- Ensure all solutions comply with Saint-Gobain's IT standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and users to promote clear communication and address any issues that arise.
- Continuously collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders to refine the product and enhance its impact on business objectives.
- Expertise in integrating MES with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and PLC/SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
- Understanding of network architecture for configuring MES communication and ensuring secure data flow.
- Conduct functional, performance, and integration testing of the MES solution before deployment.
- Ensure that the MES meets operational requirements and regulatory standards.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and communicate new release or patches as needed.
- Monitor MES performance to identify bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally within digital manufacturing or related industries.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) and experience working in Agile teams to deliver products iteratively.
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including experience with IT/OT integration (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLC).
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of MES modules like production planning, scheduling, quality management, and reporting.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, writing queries, and stored procedures is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, including technical teams, business users, and management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage a dynamic product backlog, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Understanding of business objectives and how digital manufacturing solutions can drive value and enhance operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English is typically required;
- Knowledge of technical solution design.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages for customizing MES workflows.
