Role: Android developer Location: Bangalore Electronic City Timings: IST Notice Period: 30 or Immediate Joiner Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Android App Developer to join our development team. As an Android App Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Android app development and is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with the product management and design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 2. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and usability. 3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using industry best practices and coding. standards. 4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues and optimize application performance. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver seamless integration and functionality. 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android app development. 7. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards. 8. Optimize application performance, implement memory management techniques, and address security vulnerabilities. 9. Continuously improve development processes and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency. 10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, providing timely support and updates as needed. 11. Experience working on Wearables (Android Wear OS) app development is an added advantage 12. Experience working on Android Auto app development is an added advantage Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2. Proven experience in developing and maintaining Android applications, with a strong portfolio of past projects. 3. Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages for Android development. 4. Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools. 5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries and APIs. 6. Experience with version control systems, such as Git, for code collaboration and management. 7. Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices, including responsive design and material design guidelines. 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complextechnical issues. 9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 10. Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying updated with the latest developments in mobile app technologies. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with cross-platform mobile app development frameworks, such as React Native or Flutter. 2. Familiarity with backend technologies and server-side development. 3. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and automated testing frameworks for Android apps. 4. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 5. Published apps in the Google Play Store or other app marketplaces.
