We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding access to our platform for our valued clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our clients and their educational institution partners to understand their Learning Management System (LMS) integration needs.
- Develop and implement technical integrations between the Kitaboo platform and various LMS solutions (Canvas, Moodle, Powerschool, Schoology, etc.)
- Leverage your expertise in APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), Single Sign-On (SSO) and LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) standards to ensure seamless integration and data f low.
- Maintain a deep understanding of integration best practices and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the integration process or ongoing use.
- Document integration processes and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience integrating e-readers or similar educational technology products with LMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, SSO, LTI standards, and their role in system Integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, with experience in integrating with a variety of modern LMS systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve integration Challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients and their educational institution partners.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player, contributing to collaborative and supportive work environment.
