GM Sugar and Energy Ltd Unit-2 is a 510 KLPD Ethanol Plant and 10000 TCD Sugar mill, specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality Ethanol. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Manager - Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a key leadership position that will be responsible for overseeing the electrical engineering department and ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our electrical systems. Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance and support in executing all electrical engineering projects and tasks Develop and implement strategic plans for the electrical engineering department, including objectives, initiatives, and budgets Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery Collaborate with cross-functional teams. to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition and performance of electrical systems and take corrective actions as needed Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the electrical engineering department, encouraging employee growth and professional advancement Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in electrical engineering, making recommendations for the adoption of new technologies where appropriate Requirements Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the Sugar/Cogen/Power industry Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Professional certification or license in electrical engineering is a plus
