Job Description
1.Delivers nursing care according to the standards of care defined within the Department of
Nursing.
2.Collects patient health data. Asst the doctor for rounds and follow the orders.
3.Determines the priority of data collection based on the patients immediate condition or
Needs.
4. All patient care plans has to be documented .
5. On admission, receive the patient and make him / her comfortable. See that the beds are
made prior to the patients entry to wards.
6. Initial assessment to be completed within 30 minutes of admission reassessment in each
shift.
7.Vital signs pain assessment to be checked every 4 hrs or as required.
8.Documents relevant data in the medical record according to hospital standards

10.Derives patient problems from the assessment data
11.Validates patient problems with the patient, significant others, and health care providers,
when possible.
12. All information to be exchanged documented in each staffing shift , between shift during transfer between unit / departments.
13.Check patients,Laboratory case file and give medication
