Job Description
JD for Commerce cloud developers
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions to enhance our e-commerce platform.
Oversee the integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, etc.)
Analyze and resolve technical issues, offering support to the development team and providing training when necessary.
Conduct code reviews, ensure high-quality software delivery, and enforce compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- As an SFDC Full Stack eCommerce Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our online Ecommerce platform
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, backend developers, and IT, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and engaging Ecommerce solutions
- Develop end-to-end Ecommerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform, including both front-end and back-end components
- Customize and extend SFCC functionalities, including catalog management, pricing rules, promotions, inventory management, and order processing, to meet business requirements
- Integrate SFCC with third-party systems, services, and APIs such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing automation tools
- Design and develop server-side components using SFCCs Business Manager and scripting languages like JavaScript, including custom controllers, pipelines, and scripts
- Develop and optimize front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance
- Knowledge of End-to-End Order Management lifecycle
- Experience in integration of systems using REST APIs
- Implement and maintain unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SFCC functionality, integrations, and performance
- Stay updated with the latest SFCC features, releases, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to improve Ecommerce solutions
