Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer with a strongbackground in Python and extensive experience in serverless architecture,microservices, and data pipeline management at scale
As a seniorengineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers with 2 to5 years of experience, driving team mandates for data pipelines, andmanaging databases at scale

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance andsupport to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust serverlessapplications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other relatedtechnologies.
Build and manage automated testing and deployment pipelines usingGitHub and Codepipeline.
Architect and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows tohandle large-scale data processing.
Manage and optimize databases, including DynamoDB, Postgres,and S3, to ensure high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritizefeatures and improvements.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to driveinnovation within the team. Requirements
5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focuson Python.
Proven experience in designing and building serverless applicationsand microservices.
Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, APIGateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systemsdesign.
Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, orFastAPI.
Experience with automated testing and deployment tools such asGitHub, Codepipeline, and others.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically andcreatively.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentorand inspire a team.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web developmentpractices.
A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering high-qualitysoftware.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managing and optimizing databases at scale.

Knowledge of web servers and Linux operating systems.

Previous experience working in a startup environment.

Strong analytical skills and curiosity about technology and innovation
