Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect (Java) with deep expertise in the BFSI sector, particularly in credit products, mutual funds, and loan origination systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modular architecture and hands-on experience building microservices-based systems. This role demands both strategic thinking and practical implementation skills to lead the design of scalable, high-performance financial platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and modular Java-based solutions aligned with business goals.
- Lead the development of a modular loan origination system for various credit instruments using microservices architecture.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Define and enforce architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Ensure systems are cloud-ready, resilient, and optimized for performance.
- Guide and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure technical excellence.
- Engage in solutioning around mutual funds, credit systems, and other BFSI domain products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and architecture.
- Strong experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and Spring Boot.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing modular architectures.
- Deep domain knowledge of BFSI, especially in credit products, mutual funds, and loan origination systems.
- Understanding of scalable system design, system integration, and enterprise architecture patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance in BFSI systems.
