Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and hands-on knowledge of AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). As part of our cloud platform team, you will serve as the escalation point for application teams, helping them build and scale their infrastructure in the cloud.
You ll be focused on automation, cloud-native services, and on-prem to cloud migration efforts, enabling smooth and secure
deployments across a variety of environments. While general database platform knowledge is a plus, your expertise in cloud
infrastructure is what matters most.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC) to support application team needs.
Assist with on-prem to cloud migrations using AWS DMS and other tools.
Act as the go-to escalation point for app teams needing advanced infrastructure support.
Automate provisioning and deployment processes to streamline and scale infrastructure.
Work with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB in cloud-native architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to build repeatable, secure, and scalable environments.
Champion best practices for IaC, CI/CD, and cloud architecture.
Key Skills and Experience
Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and cloud database platforms.
Strong understanding of AWS services, especially RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and automation workflows.
Experience in cloud migrations, particularly from on-prem environments.
Comfortable acting as a subject matter expert and providing support to application teams.
Exposure to other migration or automation tools in the AWS ecosystem.
Nice to Have
General database administration knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
