Job Description
- Assist in data extraction from Ariba as per the template provided, ensuring adherence to data specifications.
- Perform data cleansing in coordination with business owners based on business rules.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent and complete.
- Develop different strategies for data migration.
- Prepare data for migration as per the template provided.
- Collaborate with vendor coding, supplier enablement and catalog enablement teams, for conducting master data analysis, system testing and release activities.
- Manage project progress, produce blueprint documents (scope document, phase work plan and action item tracker)
- Collaborate with internal and external resources for successfully handling technical issues such as data migration, integrations and customization.
- Take an account of the inventory of all possible data fields/elements
- Identify and create a comprehensive list of all data fields/elements available and their type within the Ariba system.
- Inventory Existing Workspaces - Identify, inventory, and create a comprehensive list of all contract workspaces in the current system.
- Inventory Attachments - Identify, inventory, and create a comprehensive list of all contract workspace attachments in current system.
- Experience in Data Cleanup - Address incomplete, outdated or duplicate records.
- Customization Discovery - Identify any custom fields, process, features, or workflows.
- Understanding of Backup - Create a secure backup of all data.
- Expertise in Field Mapping/Translation - Align data fields from the current system to the new platform. Extraction of Metadata - Export all contract workspace data elements.
- Expertise in Data Transfer - Transfer of data & attachments to network storage system.
- Understanding of Validation and Error Handling - Error handling for unsupported formats or failed extractions.
- Familiarity with Reporting - Logs and reports for errors and warnings.
