Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Forex Officer to join our Backoffice team and handle foreign exchange (FX / Derivatives) operations. As a Forex Officer, you will be responsible for settlements and managing day-to-day FX and/or Derivatives transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: - Execution, Settlement and reconcilation of foreign exchange transactions based on market trades, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. - Maintain records of all FX / Derivatives activities, including transaction reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings. - Coordinate with internal as well as external stakeholders such as banks, brokers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth transaction processing and compliance. - Handle documentation, broker invoices and other relevant FX / Derivatives -related paperwork as necessary. - Stay updated on RBI (Reserve Bank of India), FIMMDA, FEDAI guidelines, regulations, and any. other relevant industry developments pertaining to Indian domestic FX / Derivatives operations. - Provide assistance and guidance to other team members on FX / Derivatives -related matters, fostering a collaborative work environment. - Participate in the development and enhancement of internal processes and systems to improve operational efficiency and accuracy. - periodic reviews of FX / Derivatives operations to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with minimum 3-5 years of experience in forex/ Derivatives backoffice operations - In-depth knowledge of Indian banking regulations, RBI guidelines, and compliance related to foreign exchange operations. - Familiarity with various FX / Derivatives products and derivative instruments such as forwards, swaps, options, and futures. - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to make informed decisions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
