Job Description

: 1. Extensive experience in server administration on Linux and/or Windows. 2. Understanding of OS boot process, OS hardening 3. Experience on Kernel updates and troubleshooting and Middleware. 4. Network and routing configuration at OS level, Filesystem and User administration 5. Object (Files and directories) level and user level permission configurations. 6. Experience on Shell script (mandatory) & Python. 7. Troubleshooting of OS level issues. 8. Setting up of remote/centralized Syslog service and configuration of log rotation 9. Understanding of architecture and flow of web applications. 10.Experience of working on web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss) 11. Basic understanding of RDMBS and SQL querie, Understanding of database servers 12. Experience on installation and configuration of any of database server from MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc. 13. Understanding of General IT concepts, Logging & log management, backup options and policies. 14. Networking concepts, i.e. IP addressing, subnetting, network topologies in LAN and WAN. VPN concepts and configurations. 15.Documentation and SOP preparations. 16. Clustering and High availability of resources. 17. Understanding on Virtualization and Cloud Computing, hypervisor. 18. Experience of working on any virtualized environment or public cloud. Experience of working on AWS services i. VPC, ii. VPN iii. EC2 iv. RDS v. Easticache vi. CloudFront vii. Load balancers viii.
