Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Buyer with expertise in woven and a strong understanding of ethnic wear. A background in technical aspects of fabrics and product development is essential, and prior experience in the ethnic and kids wear domain.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Entrepreneurial initiative and problem-solving skills are key to thriving in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and recommend new vendors and sourcing opportunities aligned with business growth objectives.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports to management, providing insights on business performance.
• Oversee the garment sourcing and sampling process, from vendor identification to the procurement of raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with quality and service standards.
• Ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining high-quality benchmarks in product development.

Ensure timely production follow ups and warehouse inwards.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of woven and knit fabrics.
• Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills for effective reporting.
• Experience in product development and fashion sourcing processes.
