Key Skills: Level 3 Network Engineer
The Level 3 Network Engineer is a key role in Network Management Services, responsible for overseeing and advancing the network architecture between the Service Provider and the Client. This position requires expertise in 24x7 monitoring, problem resolution, and optimization of LAN, WAN, and Unified Communications. The Level 3 Network Engineer will act as a single point of contact for the management and administration of the Network Center of Excellence (CoE) and collaborate with the client and 3rd parties to meet and exceed performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead 24x7 monitoring of Network LAN, WAN, and Unified Communications for availability, utilization, performance, and capacity.
2. Collaborate closely with the Client and 3rd Parties in the Client vendor ecosystem to promptly resolve incidents and service requests.
3. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement comprehensive Problem Management solutions.
4. Manage and maintain in-scope equipment for specified Client Service Locations and data centers.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for the management and administration of the Network Center of Excellence (CoE).
6. Proactively provide the Client with advanced optimization and tuning recommendations.
7. Coordinate with the Client and its 3rd parties (e.g., Hardware/Software suppliers, carriers, service providers) to exceed Performance Standards.
8. Document known errors and maintain a comprehensive Known Error Database (KEDB).
9. Support advanced Network protocols, including the provision of Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and Access Control Lists (ACLs) for security and performance.
10. Oversee WAN connectivity contracts for all sites.
11. Provide expert hands-on support/access to the Service Provider or 3rd-party resources within Client-provided facilities.
12. Support, manage, and operate advanced protocols following the Client Policies.
13. Monitor, analyze, and optimize network bandwidth, traffic patterns, and device capacities to ensure efficient performance and accommodate future growth.

- Aryaka SDWAN / ISP Circuit Mgmt
- Routers
- Switches
- Firewalls: Palo Alto Networks PA Series and Panorama
- Load Balancers: F5 BIG-IP
- Wireless Access Points: Aruba Instant
- Network Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds
- FortiNAC Network Access
- VPN Solutions
- Bandwidth Management
- Proficiency in leading and troubleshooting complex network architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols and security measures.
- Experience with advanced network monitoring tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Relevant certifications in network technologies (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Aruba) preferred
- Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Experience in working with 3rd party vendors.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
