Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Process Optimization Technologist will within their area of responsibility provide timely, fit for purpose technical assurance and advice to the Team Lead Process Optimization, collaborating with Stanlow Site to support and achieve sustained high throughput operation with optimized Yield/ Opex and a sustainably safe, reliable, profitable and growing enterprise. Working closely with Team Lead, the process Optimization technologist will proactively identify and deal with day to day unit optimisation and issues, as well as longer term improvements covering reliability, profitability and growth within the unit and across the site value chain linking feedstock purchasing to

product quality.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

BE or BTech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications. Chartership Application through the IChemE preferred.

>5 years experience as Technical Services Engineer directly supporting Crude Distiller (FCC) Unit.

Crude Distillation Unit Operation experience also acceptable with minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Service and total 7 years of experience.

Self-starter with good organisational, presentation and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to solve process-related problems and drive the implementation of defined solutions

Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues across organisational boundaries and within cross functional teams

Candidate should have the experience in handling Simulation Model, HTRI, Pipenet Model.
