Position Title: Assistant Manager 

Location: CBD Belapur & Seawood (visit to Head Office) 

Experience Required: 3 to 6 years. 

Role:  SAN (storage area network) administrator 

Reporting To: R1- AVP - IT, Digital Infrastructure   

                       R2- VP - IT, Digital Infrastructure 

Key Responsibilities   

• Managing different storages (HP, Dell, EMC, Netapp etc) and SAN switches (Brocade, Cisco MDS). 
• Manage, Monitoring, administration of all storage, storage pool space, volume, LUN NFS/CIFS and replication of all storage system. 
• Configure, deploy and troubleshoot SAN Storages and Switches. 
• Ensure 99.9 % uptime & availability of Storages and San Switches at DC, DR, CPC & HO locations 
• Performing activities LUN/volume creation, Expansion, mapping, allocation/deallocation, host addition/deletion.  
• Configuration and enable replication of storage. 
• Storage event Log analysis 
• Maintain storage management tool, maintain microcode/firmware of storage systems. 
• Provide preventive maintenance & quickly resolve problems to ensure infrastructure stability.  
• SAN switch availability, zoning and management. 
• Call log with OEM in case of any hardware failure and other system related issue. 
• Generate performance report of storage and SAN equipment 
• Incident and Request Fulfilment Management 
• Capacity Planning as per Storage space usage and forecasting.  

Critical competencies 

• Prior experience of more than 3 to 6 years in operations. 
• Strong desire to resolve the operational issues and achieve the operational parameters. 
• A good interpersonal skill as the position requires regular interactions with the various stake holders 
• Effective team management 
• Strategic Management to cope up with the increasing volumes.

Education Qualifications & Exp 

• BE/BTECH/Graduate (Electronics/IT/Computer/Science) Preferred / Optional: Any Enterprise Class Storage Certification
