Job Title OpenStack/Kubernetes EngineerLocation ChennaiExperience 5-7 YearsNotice period - Immediate / 15 days Employee Type Full time About The Role :We are seeking a highly skilled OpenStack/Kubernetes Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of our cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities :Cloud Infrastructure Design and Deployment :- Design, architect, and deploy scalable and highly available OpenStack and Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructures.- Configure and manage compute, storage, and network resources within the cloud environment.- Ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.Platform Administration :- Administer and maintain OpenStack and Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, patching, and security updates.- Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing issues.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.Network Configuration :- Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and load balancers.- Implement network security measures to protect the cloud infrastructure.- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues.Storage Management :- Manage and optimize storage systems, including block, object, and file storage.- Implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies.- Monitor storage performance and capacity.Automation and Scripting :- Develop and automate tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ansible.- Create and maintain configuration management tools.- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Strong understanding of OpenStack and Kubernetes concepts and architecture.- Hands-on experience with OpenStack components like Nova, Neutron, Cinder, and Swift.- Proficiency in Kubernetes concepts, including pods, services, deployments, and replication controllers.- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, and other networking protocols.- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware.- Knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Certifications like RHCSA or RHCE are a plus.- Familiarity with hardware components like EMC VNX, Unity Storage, HP Blade Servers, Brocade SAN switches, and HP switches is advantageous.ApplyInsights
