Commercial Banking Specialist INTERNAL USAGE: No. of Vacancies: Reports to: CBG:Segment Head - Liability Is a Team leader Yes Team Size: 5 to 6 team members Grade: Vice President Business: Department: CBG Sub-Department: Liability Location: Across Country About Commercial Banking Group The Commercial Banking Group is responsible for delivering One Axis to clients with a turnover between Rs 10 Crs. to Rs 250 Crs. by offering products & solutions around forex, trade, payments, cash management and tax payments along with retail products like salary, trust services, forex, commercial card, credit cards etc About the Role The Regional Head Commercial Banking Specialist (RCBS) is a key role in the Commercial banking and will manage the 3 commercial revenue lines of Current Account Balance Sheet, FX and Trade Revenues. He/ She works closely with Geography Head, Circle Head and Branch Managers to manage these 3 key revenue lines. Key. Responsibilities Actively work with senior management and product teams to ensure smooth rollout of all new initiatives while ensuring the achievement of budgets expected from the assigned market/Geography. Work very closely with the commercial banking coverage team along with Commercial banking specialist team and ensure maximization of revenues and ensure excellent client experience. The incumbent is expected to deliver annual revenues across CA, Fx and Trade in the assigned Region/market. To ensure clean and compliant management of entire client's portfolio through Commercial banking specialist team and commercial banking coverage team. Works closely with Geography Head, Circle Head and Branch Managers and support the field sales professionals in a particular geographic area. Partners with workforce in area to grow their existing clients" share of wallet and win a greater percentage of their high net worth prospects by focusing on delivering quality solutions that meet individual client's needs. Educates sales force on product solutions, create customized proposals commercial clients and be available to accompany sales professionals to deliver solutions in client meetings. Acts as a subject matter expert in area on products and planning concepts. Maintains recent knowledge of new products, industry trends, regulatory requirements, tax law changes, etc. Partners with product support team to provide case management and design support. Presents to clients at events hosted by sales professionals within area. Responsible for travel to field sales for meetings including clients. Accountable for product revenue goals and penetration goals. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Axis bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications Optimal qualification for the success in the job: Education: Graduate/Post- graduate Experience: 18-22 yrs. Role Proficiencies: Experience in product sales required. Expertise in managing a sales territory. Broad understanding of financial services, product solutions and all aspects of planning strategies and concepts.
