Role & responsibilities
1. Planning, execution and monitoring of all mechanical maintenance activities for the area/plant assigned
2. To keep all the mechanical equipment, including standby and warehouse assemblies in the plant in healthy condition and ready for operation.
3. Planning, execution and monitoring of shutdown activities safely, timely and within budget.
4. Planning, execution and commissioning of all capital expenditures, plant modifications
5. Review and timely ordering of required spare parts and ensuring availability of the same in stores.
6. Technical evaluation of offers for purchase requisitions, quality inspection of incoming goods/spare parts
7. Prepare revenue and capital expenditure budget with justification for the plant
8. Daily job allotment, inspection, tracking of maintenance jobs to company technicians and contractor work force
9. Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules
10. Maintain daily log book, equipment history, equipment performance, uptime, downtime, budget versus actual maintenance expenditures. Failure analysis
11. Prepare technical scope, terms and conditions of service requisitions, cost estimation of work
12. Make drawings of components for sending work orders to workshop
