Job Description
Job Summary:
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Manager Data Classification & IRM to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise data protection policies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Azure Information Protection (AIP), with a proven track record of managing data classification frameworks and IRM strategies in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide implementation of Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Azure Information Protection solutions.
- Define and manage data classification schemas and sensitivity labels aligned with compliance and risk frameworks.
- Architect and enforce Information Rights Management (IRM) policies across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and IT teams to operationalize data protection policies.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data loss prevention, encryption, and secure data sharing.
- Drive user adoption and change management through training, documentation, and awareness campaigns.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in information security, data governance, or compliance roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Azure Information Protection.
- Solid understanding of IRM, DLP, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
- Experience in working across enterprise environments with Office 365 and Microsoft Security stack.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
