Responsibilities Research and manipulate 3D CAD models to develop technical documents Create sub-assembly explosions for illustration of instrumentation parts and assemblies for use in technical documentation Develop illustrated, interactive parts catalog and technical manuals from engineering drawings, models and bills of material Create assembly and disassembly procedures from 3D CAD models Work independently and as part of a team to generate a set of information-rich artifacts from engineering, manufacturing and service data Experience with Siemens NX CAD required Experience authoring documentation in Cortona3 RapidAuthor required Knowledge of technical publication Industry Writing Specifications a plus Knowledge of laboratory instruments and technical documentation Experience with Teamcenter and Agile PLM. systems Qualifications Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering 8+ years exp in design of mechanical engineering design experience with Siemens NX CAD
