To help fuel our growth, we are now looking for a Controller to join our vibrant community. What is the role of a Controller The Controller is a key member of our corporate Accounting team that pans both our US and India operations. You will undertake all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory reporting, banking and forecast preparation, systems, and well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. You will be based out of our Chennai office and will report to the Chief Financial Officer in the US. As a Controller, you will have a leadership role within the Accounting team and be responsible for most of the back-office operations. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, you will make it your mission to streamline financial reporting and budgeting processes. You will be responsible for building and managing a strong accounting team. You will also assist the Core Team members in special projects from time to time. What does your day look like as a Controller at ZoomRx Oversee and perform timely monthly financial close for both the US and India entities and prepare regular reporting packages to the Core Team. Analyze monthly financial and operational results, understanding the key variance drivers and providing actionable insights to senior management Update and maintain the rolling forecast and assist in the preparation of the annual budget; working independently across disciplines to understand business rationales and assumptions Oversee contract negotiation and contract administration Lead ad hoc analytical projects from inception to conclusion with minimal guidance that will inform the companys strategic plan. Establish and oversee strong financial controls and processes as well as cash management Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings for India and the US Direct customer invoicing and collections, vendor vouchering, and payment processing Take initiative and coordinate/execute projects across different teams as applicable Ensure revenue recognition policy is applied appropriately What do we look for in you 12+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Proven working experience as a Controller A Bachelor's degree in Accounting Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Strong grasp of US and India income tax and tax preparation Experience with Accounting software and systems Competent worksheet experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven experience as a coach, teacher and people manager Good to Have An Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or an MBA Advanced or Expert experience in worksheets Experience with PSA software and systems An accounting certification - CA, CPA, CMA Why is ZoomRx the place for you Be part of a rapidly growing company.
