Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Work extensively with QuickBooks for recording financial transactions, invoicing, and account maintenance.
- Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports as requested by management or stakeholders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and reporting.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
- Support payroll processing activities; knowledge of US payroll accounting is an added advantage.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and financial data.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulae.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in US Payroll accounting is a plus.
