About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in Django, REST APIs, and modern AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenAI models, LLM training, and deployment in production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance backend systems and contribute to innovative generative AI solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Implement and deploy Django-based applications in enterprise-grade environments
Design and scale robust REST APIs for high-performance systems
Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS SQL
Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development
Integrate and optimize AI models using OpenAIs GPT-4, GPT-4o mini, or similar architectures
Train and fine-tune LLM models based on specific use cases
Leverage frameworks like OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow in AI-driven applications
Utilize core AWS services for deployment, scalability, and reliability
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for project planning and execution
Your Toolkit
Core Skills:
4+ years of experience in backend development with Django
Expertise in Git/GitHub for source control management
Experience with scalable REST API design and deployment
Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS SQL
Hands-on with OpenAI models (e.g., GPT-4, GPT-4o mini)
LLM training and fine-tuning expertise
Proficiency with OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
Understanding of AWS cloud architecture and services
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices
Bonus Points
Real-world experience on generative AI applications
Experience optimizing generative models for efficiency and scalability
Knowledge of LangChain and various chain types (e.g., ConversationalRetrieval, SQLDatabase Chain)
Experience with ChromaDB or Pinecone for vector search
Prompt engineering and iterative design of AI-generated content
Familiarity with Azure or multi-cloud environments
