- Job Title: SSE Primary Skill: Mainframe developer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 4 - 7 Yrs. Job Summary: We are looking for a mainframe developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in development with good communication skills. Responsibilities: Following are the day-to-day work activities: Requirement understanding and Analysis Understand product vision and expectation on technical solution architecture Assist in overall application architecture and solutioning Analyzing the tickets and perform impact analysis Providing the technical approach for the tickets and get it reviewed with Tech Lead Providing Low Level Design (LLD) (as applicable) Fixing the issue related the to the tickets and perform the unit testing and get it reviewed with Tech Lead Create/Maintain the dev artefacts Supporting the release activity Perform peer code reviews Requirements: Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are: 4+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 and Natural. Experience in Endeavor, File Aid, Xpeditor, and Abend Aid tools. Good Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in Coding, Testing, and ability to work in a high-volume capacity. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Strong knowledge of technical and business aspects of application software required. Need Strong experience in Mainframe batch processing. Need to have good exp in Property & Casualty(P&C) Insurance domain. Good to have experience in legacy application modernization Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skill Set: Candidates with the following extra skills on their resume have an added advantage: Experience working on a Production support model. Experience in pulling up the reports as the scan criteria. Experience in Agile Methodology.,
