Job Details: Role: Software Engineer Android Employment Type: 6 months & extendable contract Work Location: Amman, Jordan Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a max of 15-30 days of notice Detailed JD: Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages. Familiarity with Android Studio and the Android SDK. Knowledge of Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP). Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Understanding of mobile app design principles and Material Design guidelines. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Knowledge of version control systems, such as GIT. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Design and. implement software algorithms. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications and continuous integration. Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines
