Job Description

Qualified candidate will be groomed in Engineering (Design) Function. Engineer needs to develop 3D models, related drawing, and other documentation for engineering. Providing assistance to team leaders and group leaders. Make necessary corrections in the drawings for manufacturing and assembly drawings. Create and check engineering related documents as per the Quality Management System (QMS) Design Approval Matrix. Work with other functions to update documentation in line with engineering requirements. Provide assistance to manufacturing in case of any design queries. Able to retrieve and use relevant information for designing. Keep themselves abreast of the new technologies, and imbibe the same in product design and development Perform CAD simulation for design optimization Qualifications Experience: The candidate should be BE/B TECH in Mechanical / Production Engineering from Reputed college. 3 to 6 years of Experience in engineering design, preferrable related to thermal equipments. (furnaces, heat exchangers) Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Auto CAD 2D, Autodesk Inventor for 3D Modelling Should have worked in Product Data Management Tools (like Vault) Basic Engineering drawings skill and Mechanical design calculations awareness Basic Metallurgy knowledge (steel composition, heat treatment processes) CAD Simulation knowledge (static and dynamic), with CFD - preferrable Ability to bring innovation in design to improve functionality and reduce cost Good Interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills Ability to work in an Agile environment in a Collaborative way
