We have an excellent opportunity for Network Engineer. Mentioned below is the job description:
Job Location - Andheri MIDC
Key Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible to provide operational support for LAN/WAN in a multi-shift 7 x 24 x 365.
- Will be supporting MPLS backbone based network infrastructure and the clients traversing through them.
- Troubleshooting and monitoring LAN/MAN/WAN problems in a global network architecture extending across multiple geographies.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of issues with both hardware and software of LAN/WAN devices.
- Implement change requests as per business needs on network devices that encompass Juniper routers, switches, Wireless controllers and Firewalls.
- Work with multiple client groups to ensure that shared infrastructure is meeting functional and service level requirements Work with the vendorproduct in delivery of data network service, hardware and software to agreed service levels.
- Participate in team projects and effectively communicate operational requirements and ensure effective project/technology transition
- Assist with the assessment of network management tools used to monitor the defined data solutions.

Work Experience:
- Need to have experience in the troubleshooting and performance management of data infrastructure networks.
- Should have experience with Juniper Routers and switches.
- and in the implementation & administration of Juniper / Cisco- LAN/WAN/WLAN.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Juniper Routers , Switches and Firewalls. Hands-on experience maintaining converged networks over DS3,PRI, MPLS, Internet links.
- Expert knowledge in enterprise-level networking with knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGPv4, etc). Specific knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and IP protocols in an MPLS Environment.
- Experience working on CoS, QoS, WRED and related quality of service parameters. Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP)
- Good understanding of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Etherchannel, Virtual Chassis. Knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSec , SSL and GRE protocols.
- Understanding of network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP
