About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead testing efforts, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to identify potential issues early in the development process and contribute to improving the overall product quality.
- Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to identify and document defects effectively.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution and prevent their recurrence.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our QA efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to quality assurance and testing and apply relevant advancements to our QA processes.
- Collaborate with the QA team to create and maintain a comprehensive test environment, ensuring it accurately reflects the production environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing techniques, with the ability to design and execute test cases effectively.
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in Agile testing practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in handling and mentoring teams, conducting one-to-one meetings with team members, and providing constructive feedback.
- An insatiable learning urge, demonstrated by a proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and continuously improving testing skills.
