Objective
Monitor the availability of the operational IT applications,infrastructure, platforms, and devices, as well as the automated workloadprocesses (batch) in order to prevent downtime and/or to guarantee thecontinuity of business-critical batch processes, in accordance with thepredefined SLEs.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, handle and solve IT events/Incidents:
Monitor IT Events and carry out the controlactions associated with each event.
Take action to solve IT incidents based oninstructions, agreements and/or documented solutions, or escalate IT incidents.
Register IT incidents and (research) actionsalready taken; actively monitor SLEs.
Continuous batch processes
Proactively monitor the workload automationenvironment (batch) and take the appropriate action(s) in case of detectedproblems and/or delays.
Realize IT service requests
Carry out specifically assigned ICT service requestson demand and in accordance with instructionsin the context of IT infrastructure and workload automation.
Realize IT changes
Carry out IT changes in case of "Move toProduction", within the specified "change window" and inaccordance with instructions and procedures.
Developed craftsmanship
Invest in the personal and technicaldevelopment, keeping knowledge up to date by following training and coaching.
KeyActivities:
Main focus is to monitor the IT Infrastructureof Colruyt Group (24x7x365) using the tools OMI, BMC Control-M, Dynatrace,Tivoli etc. and trigger relevant actions.
Handle IT Infra events (Basic) based on theirpriority and trigger relevant actions by following the instruction text/KB's.
Handle Batch events (Basic) and batch cancels(e.g. rerun, force ok, put on hold etc.) as requested by the end users.
Handle incidents (Create/modify/escalate/close)as relevant.
Perform the SYST Batch Ombuds tasksIndependently after 1 month of hands-on experience.
Perform Operational tasks (as Ombuds) of Prodenvironment under guidance.
Execute Standard(Basic) changes independently byfollowing the procedure/KB's after 1 month of hands-on experience.
Identify and involve relevant stakeholders incase of events arising out of (un)planned interventions (e.g. IT changes,outages etc.)
' Flag/request to create a KB as and whennecessary.
Prepare and send a daily Operations Report/Worktransfer template with clear, relevant information along with the actionstriggered.
Ensure that the Batch Planning AJF (Active JobFile) is as UpToDate during the shift handover process.
Ensure the deliverables meet expected Quality,Efficiency and Effectiveness (QEE).

Good understanding of ITIL V4 Fundamentals
Fundamental awareness of tools like MF OMI, BMC Control-M, Dynatrace, Tivoli., etc.
Basics of Windows, Linux Mainframe operating systems
