The role is for a Software Engineer with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities The role is for a Software Engineer with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years Application Development and Maintenance & support experience. The candidate must have past experience of working as a part of large Development / Support team. The role will also involve all aspects of the Application development, M&E activities and to provide L3 support ticket resolutions. The candidate should have an understanding of full software life cycle (SDLC) as well as Agile Methodology. Previous experience within the investment banking sector is not essential but will be an added advantage. Contributing Responsibilities Technical & Behavioral Competencies Excellent Knowledge & Understanding of JAVA (Struts, Spring and Angular (added advantage), Unix, Oracle and SQL. Good Knowledge of Unix Server environment & platforms Good Knowledge & Understanding of TOMCAT, Eclipse and Bit bucket. Flair for learning new tools & technology Knowledge of AUTOSYS, SONAR, Artifactory and Jenkin will be an added advantage but not critical Knowledge of tools like WinSCP, Putty, dev-ops will be an added advantage but not critical Specific Qualifications (if required) - Release Management exposure - Change management process - Stakeholder coordination & management
