Middleware Administrator @ Nucleus Software

Job Description

Install and configure Oracle WebLogic Server 11g/12c, Oracle Web Tier 11g, and Oracle Forms & Reports Server 11g/12c.

Configure and optimize JVM Controllers and JDBC Connection Pools for enhanced performance.

Perform heap memory tuning and conduct heap dump and thread dump analyses to resolve performance issues.

Implement clustering solutions for Oracle WebLogic and JBoss EAP to ensure scalability and reliability.

Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve middleware services.

Lead the development and implementation of middleware best practices, policies, and procedures.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in middleware technologies.

Qualifications: 4+ years of hands-on experience in middleware administration with a focus on Oracle WebLogic and JBoss EAP. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing Oracle WebLogic Server 11g/12c and JBoss EAP. Strong expertise in performance tuning of JVM, JDBC Connection Pools, and heap memory. Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing heap dumps and thread dumps. Knowledge of clustering and high availability configurations for Oracle WebLogic and JBoss EAP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Certifications such as Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator Certified Expert or Red Hat Certified Specialist in JBoss EAP administration are a plus.
