Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end planning and implementation of small and medium projects by effectively handling People, Process, Project and Client
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for delivery of ETL, SSIS, MS SQL, Azure and Process Improvements projects Participate in the SDLC of the project ie from requirement gathering till implementation Keep up to date with the market trends in technology and leverage the same for designing and implementing solutions
- Drive the importance of and adherence to the time sheet filling process Drive sustainable cost saving initiatives in the project Participate in the SDLC of the project ie from requirement gathering till implementation Work closely with the concerned stakeholders in creating the project statement of work, project mission, goals, estimations, tasks, resource requirements and early warning indicators
- Create the project plans (in terms of scope, cost, quality and time), track the project plan and take required actions to address the deviations
- Ensure status reports of the project are generated and updates shared with the relevant stakeholders Upon project closure, initiate and implement the appropriate project closure process (including updating of the project history database) Obtain project level client feedback and take relevant actions
- Anchor continuous improvement towards delivery excellence Identify risks and mitigation thereof Anchor the creation of tangible assets and repositories for the project (frameworks, white papers, estimation templates etc) Apply and review technical solutions for the project
Quality Process Adherence
- Create awareness of quality processes and ensure adherence to the same Track the NCs and work towards its reduction Trianz Confidential Client Engagement and Satisfaction Understand the client business, domain of operations, long term and short term objectives
- Pro-actively identify client needs and share the same with the relevant stakeholders Ensure all clarifications of the client are addressed appropriately
- Take the lead and anchor all project reviews with the client Make presentations to clients to showcase project value additions (system improvements, process streamlining, productivity improvements, quarter-on-quarter basis cost savings, pro-active solutions / PoCs and other project metrics)
People Management
- Keep abreast of technologies and project management methodologies Build the team, set expectations with specific outcomes and provide performance feedback Coach, develop and motivate the team to meet and exceed performance expectations
- Build a high performance culture Understand the competencies available in the team and pro-actively build the required competence levels Induct freshers and make them billable
