DevOps Profile - Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and own the CI.

2. Manage CD tooling.

3. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.

4. Build and maintain highly available production systems.

5. Deep understanding of the project landscape

6. Help develop, manage, and monitor continuous integration and delivery systems

7. Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and other team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new software releases

8. Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving when issues arise

9. Keep up with the latest industry trends and best practices while ensuring the company meets configuration requirements

10. Provide on-call support as needed

Skills:

1. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

2. Strong knowledge of GCP

3. Managing infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.

4. Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.

5. Source code management experiences such as git and GitHub

6. Strong knowledge of container and Orchestration platforms like docker, Kubernetes, GKE etc

7. CICD tools like Jenkins and cloud build

8. An understanding of various operating systems, especially Linux, as most public clouds operate on Linux or Unix systems

9. Good in shell script and python

10. Good in designing centralized logging and monitoring solutions

11. Ability to troubleshoot issues in complex architecture deployments
