Job Description
Position Overview
A Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide technical advice and resolve engineering-related issues that arise during construction.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage.
- Safety Management: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
- Resource Management: Oversee the usage and storage of materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Budget and Cost Control: Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring that expenses are within the approved budget.
