Job Description
Shiv Nadar Foundation(HCLC) is looking for Senior Manager - Civil Engineer for Noida sector 24.
a. Experience: 14-16 years of relevant experience in handling of large-scale Civil Construction projects. A competent professional with technical acumen and project management skills for handling large scale Infrastructure development projects from conceptual stage to final delivery
b. Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech (Civil) from a reputed institute
c. Location: Delhi NCR. The role may require traveling between Chennai, Noida, NCR, other project sites in India for management meetings and reviews. Travel for meeting with outstation consultants and OEMs may as well be required as per the project requirement.
d. Role: Senior Manager Projects (Civil)
KRA and Responsibilities:
Supervision and Monitoring of all projects
Due- diligence of Civil Engineering Aspects at design stage as well at execution stage.
Review Design and Drawings, BoQs and other project documentation and value add on all civil engineering aspects
Should be capable of reviewing structural details comprehensively.
Control and ensure Site safety related aspects, and ensure complete EHS at site.
Coordinate and oversee site compliance and legal aspects.
SPOC for Quality management
Ensuring adherence to the project specifications, drawings and quality standards.
Coordinate daily with PMC, consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution at site
Ensure implementation of QA/QC protocols, conduct inspections, and raise/close NCRs, if any
Review and validate contractors and PMCs quality documentation including method statements, inspection checklists, and test reports.
Monitor and report on work progress, quality milestones and compliance to BOQ/specs
Review bar bending schedules (BBS), reinforcement placements, concrete works, and finishing items for compliance.
Ensure EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) norms are followed on site
Maintain records of material approvals, test certificates, cube test results, etc.
Facilitate resolution of site issues by coordinating between design, PMC and contractors. Provide timely reports and updates to client project Lead
Ensure work is happening as per the design and GFCs
Oversee project schedules and update as per project requirements
Problem, solving skills - efficiently manage PMCs, consultants and other Internal and External Stakeholders
Required Skills:
Project Planning and Management
Knowledge and Understanding of Civil Engineering aspects, Structures etc
Knowledge and Understanding of local bye-laws and compliances
Preferable:
PG in civil engineering - preferably structural engineering
Safety Certification
Quality Control Certification
