 QA/QC Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Accountable for the quality and quantity of every activity, with precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines, interfacing with multidisciplinary processes.

Responsible for QA/QC documentation of the complete project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instructions/observations, delivery of permanent materials, and other critical QA/QC records.

Develop and define all standards for inspections and testing procedures, oversee testing methods, and ensure high-quality standards across all project phases.

Review the quality of all materials at site, ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards, and coordinate with the procurement team for quality materials.

Supervise the implementation of inspection and testing schedules, ensure adherence to procedures, and coordinate with internal teams to conduct quality audits.

Assist employees in understanding and applying all quality standards, ensure adherence to quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to uphold quality systems.

Monitor and maintain effective systems for recording project activities and evaluating all processes to ensure quality compliance.

Manage work methodologies, stay updated on quality assurance standards, promote continuous improvement, and recommend corrective actions when required.

Develop method statements for activities, including risk assessments, job safety and environmental analysis, and inspection test plans/checklists based on project specifications.

Liaise with the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to the Consultant.

Coordinate with the Consultants representative and Site In-charge for inspection and approvals.


Mandatory Requirement


Candidates must have proven experience in handling Interior Design (ID) works, specifically within high-end hospitality projects such as resorts, hotels, or luxury villas.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in construction
  • Strong background in QA/QC processes and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the work of others, manage tight deadlines, and multitask across project demands
  • High personal initiative and ability to take ownership of responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in multicultural and diverse team environments
